Here is an opportunity to do something that will
Positively Benefit our Community!
Honoring every veteran who has ever served our country
We hold an annual banquet in Albia every fall. Last year we raised over $35,000 for the monument with the help of local businesses and contributors. Join us in October!

You can see that this monument,
when finalized, will indeed be an
awe-inspiring memorial to all veterans.
Although the current vision of the memorial has an estimated cost of approximately $2,000,000.00 (two million) dollars. We do see this special project being an on-going and evolving endeavor and labor of love. While the initial phase of the project has been completed for $250,000.00, there is still a great need for donations. By making a donation,
you will aid in the completion of this wonderful tribute.
To continue the development of this moving and inspirational monument project we need the support of every veteran and their family. We are asking that everyone consider honoring a veteran you know by having “your” veteran’s name etched on the monument’s wall for eternity by sending a $150.00 donation.
Our goal is to give family, friends and visitors the ability to honor our veterans in a setting that represents the ideals and values of the nation for which they served, and to provide a peaceful and honorable place for which all soldiers
are truly “welcomed home”.
Please take the time to share this with family, co-workers and friends everywhere. There are no state boundary lines when honoring “your” veteran.
Welcome Home Soldier is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization and your donations are all tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
